The WWDC developer conference is primarily associated with introducing new software, led by Apple’s operating systems. Still, there are some cases where the Californian giant presented new hardware there. After all, the first HomePod, iMac Pro, Mac Pro with Pro Display XDR, or even older iPads Pro had their premiere here. Therefore, it is no wonder that Apple fans speculate what kind of new hardware they could introduce to the world this time. However, as it seems, it will not be a terror.

Bloomberg’s leading tech reporter Mark Gurman talked about the hardware at WWDC in his way a few hours ago. Why, in a way? According to him, Apple’s hardware plans for WWDC probably do not exist. Indeed, the speculated smart glasses or AR/ VR headset is still in the development and testing phase, according to Gurman, so even the recent trademark registration for “reality,” which is supposed to be the operating system for the glasses, does not bring a higher chance of an earlier introduction to the market.

According to Gurman, the only product that comes hypothetically into consideration for an introduction at WWDC is a next-generation MacBook Air with a design based on MacBook Pro or the return of the MagSafe port.
