Why doesn’t the iPhone 13 Always On Display?
It’s a feature that Android phones have had for years, not to mention that it has been around for much longer in practice. I suspect that Nokia was even the first to introduce it more than twelve years ago.
Anyway, the situation is that the iPhone 13 doesn’t Always offer an On Display. Not that it couldn’t, considering what displays the current series uses. It’s just that Apple seems to have forgotten about it (for now), or it’s still not on the agenda. Isn’t that a shame? Not necessarily, but displaying the essential information on the screen would certainly be good.
The popular PhoneArena came up with a compelling reason a little while ago. It claims that the apple giant has no reason to rush (again) and will most likely introduce this functionality only with the arrival of the iPhone 14 next year. While this opinion is purely speculative, another thesis may be based on truth.
