Five changes and new features we’ll (probably) see in iOS 16
We are currently just a few weeks away from introducing new operating systems, led by iOS 16. Specifically, we’ll see iOS 16 and other new systems as early as June 6 at the WWDC22 developer conference. It’s expected that these systems will be available for download to all developers immediately after the unveiling, as they have been in previous years. As for the public release, we’ll see that classically sometime towards the end of the year. There are currently various information and leaks about iOS 16. This article will look at five changes and innovations that we will (most likely) see in this new system.
Compatible devices
Apple tries to support all its devices for as long as possible. As far as iOS 15 is concerned, you can currently install this version of the system on iPhone 6s (Plus) or iPhone SE first generation, which are almost seven or six years old devices — you can dream about such extended support with competing manufacturers. But the truth is that iOS 15 may not work perfectly on the oldest devices, so even from that perspective, you can assume that you won’t be able to install iOS 16 on the first-generation iPhone 6s (Plus) and SE. So the oldest iPhone that will be able to install future iOS will be the iPhone 7.
